Cecilia Mwikali Paul is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with experience in litigation, commercial law, employment law, Sports law, governance and dispute resolution.
She holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Kenyatta University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law and is currently pursuing a Master of Laws (LLM) in Corporate and Financial Law at the University of Nairobi. She is also certified in Mediation and Data Protection.
Her practice focuses on litigation, legal research, commercial advisory, governance, employment law, arbitration and regulatory compliance. She is committed to delivering practical, efficient and client-focused legal solutions.
Cecilia is also a co-founder of GMA Global Sports and business, advising sports organizations, national federations and government ministries across Africa on legal compliance, digital transformation and sports integrity. She is a member of the Law Society of Kenya and currently serves as a Member of the Young Lawyers Committee (2026–2028). She is also a member of the East Africa Law Society.

Successfully defended a borrower against an inflated loan claim in which the lender sought to increase the alleged debt from Ksh 1.3 million to Ksh 10,000,000 in proceedings involving Eneo Capital Limited.

Successfully defended Camusat Kenya Ltd in an unfair termination claim valued at Ksh 10,000,000.

Successfully defended Msossi Ventures Limited against a derivative action disguised as a breach of contract claim, successfully challenging the claimant’s attempt to circumvent the legal requirements governing derivative proceedings under the Companies Act.
Maritime law

Represented the Owners of MV ATA-M in proceedings arising from the arrest of the vessel at Kilindini Port, Mombasa, and successfully secured the vessel’s release, protecting the Owners’ commercial interests and enabling the vessel to resume operations.
Regulatory & road transport litigation

Successfully represented the family of the late Eugene Mutuku, a KMTC student who tragically lost his life in a road traffic accident in June 2026 involving a vehicle operated by Nicco Movers Limited, obtaining orders suspending the operator’s PSV Operating Licence.
