Alex Omanga

Alex Omanga is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with a distinguished practice in intellectual property law. He advises innovators, entrepreneurs, creators and businesses on the protection, commercialization and enforcement of intellectual property rights, including trademarks, copyrights, licensing arrangements and technology-related matters.
Alex also provides strategic counsel on intellectual property portfolio management, IP due diligence and brand protection, helping clients maximize the value of their intellectual assets while ensuring compliance with applicable laws. His practical, commercially driven approach enables clients to safeguard innovation, mitigate legal risks and achieve their business objectives.
Gordon Gogo Ouma
Associate Advocate
Gordon Gogo Ouma is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, published author, and a leading voice at the intersection of sports law, artificial intelligence, and esports innovation in Africa. He is the lead author of The Invisible Athlete: Why Africa’s Sports Systems Cannot See Their Own Talent — and What Data Infrastructure Can Do About It, a landmark work exposing the structural data failures behind African sport’s chronic undervaluation and mapping a concrete path to reform.
A practising lawyer certified in AI governance, data analytics, and arbitration, Gordon advises sports organisations, national federations, and government ministries across Africa on legal compliance, digital transformation, and sports integrity. He is Co-Founder of Afiotech Sports Technology & Innovation Group and Founder of GMA Global Sports & Business, and served as Phygital Sports Coordinator at Esports Kenya Federation where he co-organized Kenya’s first hybrid physical-digital sports tournament in 2025.
Gordon holds an Associate Membership with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and is currently pursuing dual postgraduate degrees: a Global Masters in International Sports Law at ISDE Madrid and a Masters in Esports Management and Gaming at ITTI Sports Institute. He is a contributor to Safe Sport International and Africa Legal, a UNODC Ethics and Integrity Ambassador, and a Member of the Young African Leaders in Sport. He speaks on sports law and governance, AI in sport, data infrastructure in African sport, esports regulation, and the future of athlete development.
