Diana Katumbi Ngei is the Managing Partner of Paul and Ngei Advocates and an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with over seven (7) years of active legal practice.
She has extensive experience advising multinational corporations, financial institutions, State corporations, regulatory authorities, public institutions and private clients on corporate and commercial law, litigation, banking and finance, conveyancing, employment law, insolvency, competition law, Intellectual property law, data protection, governance and regulatory compliance.
Prior to co-founding the Firm, Diana practised at Munyao, Muthama & Kashindi Advocates where she progressed from Law Intern to Associate Advocate, gaining significant experience in high-value commercial transactions and complex litigation.

Represented the Owners of MV ATA-M in proceedings arising from the arrest of the vessel at Kilindini Port, Mombasa, and successfully secured the vessel’s release, protecting the Owners’ commercial interests and enabling the vessel to resume operations.

Successfully represented Unilever Kenya Limited in complex employment and labour disputes before the Employment and Labour Relations Court, providing strategic litigation, legal advisory and dispute resolution services while safeguarding the client’s commercial and employment interests.

Conducted comprehensive reviews and revision of Human Resource Manuals, employment policies and workplace procedures for various corporate entities and institutions to ensure compliance with the Employment Act, 2007, labour regulations, constitutional principles and emerging workplace best practices.

Regulatory & road transport litigation

Successfully represented the family of the late Eugene Mutuku, a KMTC student who tragically lost his life in a road traffic accident in June 2026 involving a vehicle operated by Nicco Movers Limited. Following the incident and the operator’s failure to comply with safety concerns and directives issued by the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA), the firm successfully obtained orders suspending Nicco Movers Limited’s PSV Operating Licence.
